How does repairing leather work?

Repair process involves some steps of the cleaning process where proper identification of leather is required and possibilities of repair work and its outcomes are examined.
It is then followed by a quick clean to make sure the repair work is done on a clean surface and not on existing dirt or debris. We strip down the old surface coats, fill up any holes, cracks or minor tears and let it dry to cure it naturally.

The colour when dry, forms a layer which is leather skin friendly.

These process is than followed by a proper leather top coat or leather protection coats where the repair process is completely sealed with effective barrier from dust, debris, wear and tear etc.
